My Saturday night involved eating Mission corn chips with this spontaneous use of cream cheese dip that I decided needed to taste like tacos and nachos and watching the Beyonce thing on Netflix. Both equally blew me away and gave me a new found respect for their amazingness. I’ll let you decide which once perhaps more so. Get around this recipe as a dip, as a spread in a wrap for lunch or as a base for tacos.
Tex-Mex Taco Cream Cheese Dip
Makes a giant tub
Ingredients
- 250g tub of cream cheese
- 200ml sour cream
- 5tbs ricotta
- 3/4 of a 30g taco seasoning packet
- small handful of chopped feta – optional
- Small handful of coriander chopped
- Small handful of chopped cherry tomatoes
Method
Little note: I used a stand mixer but feel free to use a whisk, wooden spoon or electric beater.
In a bowl stir all the ingredients together until it’s nice and smooth! That’s it!
(The reason for 3/4 of the taco packet is it’s a super strong flavour. Have a taste once everything’s combined and feel free to add the remaining if you want it even more punchy.
