Words can’t express how much I love Germany, Germans and most of all Berlin. An organised, efficient hipster fare. Heavily portioned pork sausage, overly poured draft beer. Did I mention efficiency?
Here’s my beloved Berliner…
The Bird – waiting in line for an hour then being served by a bearded Canadian and eating probably the best burger outside of US made it all worth it.
La Soupe Populaire – industrial warehouse meets michelin meets meets art gallery meets meatballs meet happy wandering matilda
Restaurant Muse – perfect for a rainy day, scrabble, poutine and red wine
Markthalle – enter hunrgy, roll out a german sausage from the Gods.
Prater Garten Berlin – Berliner bier among locals, trees and long wooden benches AKA perfection
Hummus and Friends – need a break from pork knuckle (no one said ever)?
Cocolo Ramen – epitome of Berlin hipster. Overalls for days, fixies and a big delicious bowl of ramen under open bulb lights, obvs.
The Store Kitchen – men beware… cafe meets shop for cool beyond the richter.
Cabslam – for the majority of us that don’t understand European continental breakfast, head here for all things eggs & bacon
Leibhaftig – cosy local loaded with warm, hearty German pub food
